As one of the premier pastel portrait painters in America today, Sally Gates captures the innocence of her young subjects with superb realism. Sally’s attention to detail and exquisite taste makes each and every one of her commissions a classical masterpiece.

Sally earned an Associate in Arts from Colby Sawyer College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Akron. She went on to advanced study in New York under the guidance of the late Daniel Greene, once considered one of the finest pastelists in the world.
